These weekly inspections include nutritional oversight, disease management, vaccinations including live sprays and inoculations, pullet body weight management, and compliance management. Our service team is dedicated to raising each pullet in a clean and safe environment

  • Our technical team analyzes feed rations weekly to ensure the pullets needs are met. Body weights and proper gains are crucial to a successful laying program. To ensure you have the most successful flock possible, we put a major emphasis on nutrition.

  • Each of our pullet houses are equipped with the proper equipment to follow lighting programs. JWM takes a custom approach to lighting based off of the time of the year, system in which the pullets are destined for, and each of programs has strong ties to genetic recommendations.

  • Each of our pullet growing locations are equipped with the proper ventilation systems. With advancements in technology, and the ever rising need to keep the birds as healthy as possible we focus on air quality. Weekly checks combined with properly trained farmers helps us keep your flocks healthy and safe.

  • Since a clean water system is so important, each of our sites goes through routine water tests ensuring the cleanliness of the water. Water is a crucial part of proper feed intake, and encouraging drinking with clean water is key to a successful feeding program.

  • Ensuring dry and adequate bedding is available to each of our flocks is important to us. It helps cut down on bacterial loads in the house, and provides a comfortable and safe environment for the birds. Each flock receives fresh bedding to start their journey clean.

  • Keeping our contract farms free of disease is a high priority of ours. With our service technicians performing weekly inspections that include rodent monitoring, structural monitoring, and grounds keeping it adds another layer of safety. We strive to maintain a 3 foot barrier free of vegetation around each facility to keep rodents and pests out, and outdoor bait stations are monitored and up kept to identify a potential issue. We feel strongly that the outside of each site is just as important as the inside in keeping our animals safe.
